Whizz Pop Bang is a relatively new science magazine for children. It is packed full of great features, science experiments, cool facts and jokes! You can find out more on the Whizz pop bang magazine website or follow them on Twitter Facebook or Youtube for regular updates and seriously fun ideas!
Watch this seriously cool video from their youtube channel.
I could probably complete this review in one single word… FANTASTIC! But that wouldn’t be much fun for anyone so I will add a few more!
We absolutely LOVED the magazines we were sent, they were such great quality and really engaging. The activities are very manageable as they mostly use items that are around the house anyway! The girls particularly loved reading about Bees and took great pleaseure in informing me that my favourite toast topping (honey) is infact bee vomit!
The artical about cats went down particularly well with Emelia as she is a mad cat woman in waiting and we had a lot of fun trying out the Marbled planets activity.
Other topics we loved included in the 1st issue were Rocket science, The science of sleep, Ice cool, and Digging the dirt. There was so much in just one issue that we haven’t even started on the 2nd but I just know it’s going to be a huge hit and the adaptation feature will tie in really well with a project we have planned!
I love the idea of children having a magazine subscription for christmas, kids love getting their own post and it’s lovely to have the christmas excitement spread out through the year!
